Benefit: You gain a +3 trait bonus on Bluff checks made in order to gain food, water, or shelter.
Chivalrous (Lordaeron, Stormwind, Alterac, Arathi, Quel’thalas)
You were raised on tales of heroic knights, and try to emulate their great deeds.
Benefit: You gain a +1 trait bonus on Diplomacy and Knowledge (history) checks.
Cliff Jumper (Southern Highlands, Northeron, Gilneas)
You spent your early years exploring and foraging along the coastal cliffs.
Benefit: You gain a +1 trait bonus on Acrobatics and Climb checks, and on Reflex saves to avoid falling.
Coin Hoarder (Blackrock, Alterac, Dalaran)
Everything has a price—and it’s your job to know it.
Benefit: Your starting cash increases to 500 gp
Your exposure to the huge variety of cultures has given you an ear for languages.
Benefit: You gain a +1 trait bonus on Linguistics checks, and Linguistics is always a class skill for you.
You grew up in the crannogs of the Black Morass.
Benefit: You gain a +1 trait bonus on Survival and Stealth skill checks in swampy or very damp terrain.
Cynic (Dalaran, Gilneas)
You have seen all manner of people claiming various motives, and you have learned to judge them by their deeds, rather than their words.
Benefit: You gain a +1 trait bonus on Sense Motive checks, and Sense Motive is always a class skill for you.
Dump Salvager (Kul’Tiras, Stormwind, Quel’thalas, Gilneas, Wetlands)
You grew up in or around your city’s rubbish-strewn shores and spent your spare time digging through trash looking for things worth selling.
Benefit: You gain a +3 trait bonus on Perception checks to search for concealed items.
Dusk Dancer (Blackrock)
Growing up in Shadowforge City has given you the confidence to avoid hazards which you can barely see.
Benefit: You gain a +2 trait bonus on Reflex saves in dim light or darkness.
You were born and raised in Blackrock and its surrounds.
Benefit: You gain a +4 trait bonus on any saving throws made to resist the effects of being in hot conditions, and a +1 trait bonus on all saving throws against fire effects.
Forest Stalker (Hinterlands, Quel’Thalas, Gilneas)
You are experienced in moving through forested regions and have become adept at sensing danger.
Benefit: You have a +1 to Perception skill checks, and Perception is always a class skill for you.
Frostborn (Dun Morogh, Northeron, Alterac, Gilneas)
Long nights in frigid winters of the have inured you to cold.
Benefit: You gain a +4 trait bonus on any savings throws made to resist the effects of cold environments, as well as a +1 trait bonus on all saving throws against cold effects.
Glory of Old (Arathi, Quel’thalas)
In your veins flows the blood of heroes.
Benefit: You receive a +1 trait bonus on saving throws against spells, spell-like abilities, and poison.
Highlander (Northeron, Southern Highlands, Loch Modan, Badlands, Gilneas)
You were born and raised in rugged badlands or hills, and you’ve become something of an expert at evading the predators, monsters, and worse that haunt the highlands.
Benefit: You gain a +1 trait bonus on Stealth checks, and Stealth is always a class skill for you. This trait bonus increases to +2 in hilly or rocky areas.
Inspiring Speaker (Alterac, Arathi, Dun Morogh, Loch Modan)
You have learned the arts of oratory, and know how to speak to crowds to rile them up or to calm them down.
Benefit: You gain a +1 trait bonus on Bluff and Diplomacy checks when addressing crowds of 10 people or more.
Militia Veteran (any town or village)
Your first job was serving in a civilian militia in your home town. Skills learned while daily drilling and protecting your fellow townsfolk gave you special insight into military life.
Benefit: Select one of the following skills: Profession (soldier), Ride, or Survival. You gain a +1 trait bonus on that skill, and it is always a class skill for you.
Precocious Spellcaster (Dalaran, Quel’thalas)
Before you even began your training as a spellcaster, you spent a great deal of time studying cantrips and simple spells on your own. Because of this, you developed some innate magical abilities without any outside guidance.
Benefit: Select one cantrip and one 1st-level spell; when you cast these spells, they function at one caster level higher than your actual caster level.
Seafarer (Quel’thalas, Kul Tiras, Stormwind, Wetlands)
You’ve grown up upon the sea
Benefit: You gain a +1 trait bonus on Profession(sailor) checks, Swim checks, and any skill checks involving rope use.
Vendetta (Stormwind, Lordaeron, Quel’thalas, Hinterlands, Dun Morogh, Arathi)
The Horde destroyed much of your home, and even though they have been defeated, the scars of their rampage will never be truly healed.
Benefit: You have a +1 trait bonus on damage rolls against trolls, orcs and ogres. This is multiplied on a critical strike.
Winter Warrior (Dun Morogh, Northeron)
You grew up in the icy lands, and surviving in the cold snows of winter is second nature to you.
Benefit: You gain a +1 trait bonus on Stealth and Survival checks in ice- or snow-covered terrain.
